Hey guys! so i wanted to upgrade my system and in my country (argentina) the rtx 3080 FE 10gb used is in a really good deal in pages like facebook marketplace. So i reserched quiet a bit and the 3080 10gb seems to be a really good option in 2024 for 1440p ultra settings and some ray tracing, so i wanted to make the upgrade. The problem is that im owning a 1080p 165hz monitor (Gigabyte g24f) so i would play mainly in 1080p at least at the begining. Later on i would like to upgrade the monitor to a 1440p one, but for now it would be straight 1080p what do you think guys, is it a bad choice o pearing? i would obviously change the psu as well couse im rocking a 650w psu on the moment, to a 750w one.

How old is this unit?

If you're going to stifle the GPU with 1080p, I'd avoid spending anything on it. If you can purchase the GPU and panel at the same time, that would be something I'd do in order to take advantage of the RTX3080 FE's prowess.
