Will another 2gb RAM make a difference?

Hello guys, I'm thinking of buying another 2gb of RAM to add to my existing 2gb. I do some editing of videos and average gaming.
I am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and has a 9500gt 1gb. Will adding that amount of memory will reduce my rendering times of after effects?

Maybe not by much but it will make a difference. What CPU do you have?

yes...get that additional memory... it'll help for faster texture loading etc...

But adding more RAM, especially when u have only 2GB now, it will help your PC to run smoother than ever.

But consider this, for about $350 u can build yourself much faster PC.

Adding another 2gb will make your pc faster for multitasking. Only 2 gb is kinda low this days. Your pc will be more responsive and can get benefit from 64bit windows.

More ram will only reduce HDD swapping. It may help a tiny bit with the hdd if the effects are too much to handle, but for rendering you need a faster CPU.
