My cpu is an AMD FX 6100 4.2GHZ OC... And my gpu is Sapphire R9 280 Dual x oc 3gb..
My question is: will my gpu be bottlenecked by this cpu ?

-Im asking because im having some hard frame drops when im trying to max a game.

Thanks in addition,

Mobo won't change GPU perf. Unless the CPU was being slowed down by the mobo?!? Which is highly unlikley.

No point in OC'ing if you got a new mobo, as you are reinstalling windows... Should i suggest you try removing the CPU OC and test? 😉

First why i need to reinstal windows ? I ve heard that removing the old drivers will be the same... Im 70 % sure that either my psu is not providing the gpu, the proper amount of power or the mobo is somehow slowing the gpu... Im sure that the cpu is not the problem .

You are going to take out the PC's body basicly.. The Mobo holds it all together, makes sure it all runs as best as possible. Your other components are used to this mobo and it's chipset configuration.
If you change that, the HDD/SSD no longer sees the sames codes or paths in the same places!

It can happen that the swapping of the mobo will not require a reinstall. (I saw it once, Both mobo's were the same brand and exact chipset version. LUCK!)

So the chances are 99% That you'll need to reinstall Win!

If the GPU is not getting enough power that's your problem! Then you may find that you have no need to OC! ( No point in OC'ing if you don't have enough power! (This card requires between 190w and 250w depeending on revision of card and manufacturer! ) That is a lot of power!

I would Get a corsair (or other big brand) 750w PSU 😉
