My specs are as follows

2.4Ghz P4 Socket 478 Northwood
2GB DDR RAM
250GB HDD

In my specs it saids a HD 3650 but i've yet to recieve it. Will it bottleneck in this system? I will be planning to run bluray and make this as a HTPC. Please note card is a AGP.

You can decode HD formats with hd 3650 an P4 2,4 but only will be smooth at 720p. I don't know for full 1080p, but may be possible I hear atom at 1.6 with nvidia 9300 can do it.

Get some player with proper HD decode support like Media Payer Classic Home Cinema or Power DVD

Does Media Player Classic suport HD? Thanks gkay09. My computer without the HD 3650 can play 720p fine its running on a MX420 lol. But when it comes to HD its like not even 2.35 FPS lol.

No, regular version of MPC doesnt't support search for MPC home cinema version, it's free.

Also you may play ripped HD files, but BlueRay has more decoding. Still I think you can play ripped 1080p files.
