As the title describes, im not sure if the mobo will bottleneck or even out right work will the cpu. Im on the newest BIOS and i know amd said all AM4 boards will work but i remember something happening a little bit ago when they changed that statement.

You just need to ensure you have the proper BIOS loaded BEFORE you swap CPUs. The 3600 CPU requires the AL version of the BIOS. That is the NEWEST version listed on the support page -- https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350-PC-MATE#
READ ALL THE NOTES in all the BIOS versions !!! Like the requirement to update your AMD chipset driver on the AG version

it wont work sorry. The chipset on mobo only supports up to second genaration ryzen up to 2000xseries and not 3000x
Did you look at the manufacturer's website -- https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B350-PC-MATE#support-cpu
The manufacturer says they are supported. It is a beta BIOS, but the 3xxx series CPUs are not explictly excluded from support.
Is a B350 a good choice? For a plain-jane 3600, it is probably OK. The 3600 (non-X) is only a 65W CPU.

heres a link to your current mobo showing support for only up to secong gen ryzen (2000x) series.
Your link is incorrect, the OP specifically said they had the PC-MATE motherboard.
