Hey guys,
I've been looking to upgrade my GPU for awhile, but running on a budget. I currently have a RX580 (Sapphire Nitro+ Special Edition).
I found somebody selling their ASUS Cerberus GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB for $300... used, but works perfectly fine. I plan on making this purchase, but first want to confirm that my PC specs will support this GPU change/slight upgrade.
Here's my full current build:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600x
GPU: RX580 - 8GB (Sapphire Nitro+ Special Edition)
RAM: 16GB of DDR5 running at 3000mhz (GeIL SuperLuce RGB)
PSU: Corsair CX850M
Storage: 1TB WD Blue SSD (3D NAND)
I currently have a 1080p monitor, but plan on upgrading to a 1440p after this upgrade.
Should I do it? For $300 (used but working properly) .. I'd be able to sell my RX580 and get some cash back towards the monitor upgrade as well..
YAY OR NAY?
Thanks guys 😬
