Question Will nitrile gloves protect you from electric shock while working on power supply?

No.

(Edit: to add) Also NEVER work on a live system, more people die from 120/110VAC than any other voltage. If you have to ask these questions I do not advise you do the work without familiarizing yourself with electrical safe work practices. You could harm yourself or others inadvertently.

I am an electrician. No, I will not advise further.

They are non conductive and would provide some protection. Are you worried about a shock after performing the soldering?
Just during i don't want accidently touch anything i shouldn't on the power supply. Im not perfect,Just got to solder in an AC PLUG and solder in a fan or fan plug. Most likely im going to soldering in a 2 pin fan. I already pulled the solder out of the holes.

But was just wondering what gloves would work best. What do the pros who do solder rework use?
