I have a b450 mortar mATX board and I am planning to buy a PowerColor RX 5700xt and I am concerned if it will fit

yes it will fit.
b450 mortar mATX has a normal pcie x16 gen Gen 3.0 slot,so it will work.You should be worried if the GPU will fit in your case.Check the dimensions of the card and the dimensions of the case and thats how you will know iff it will fit
