Will Sega Still Make The 2K Sports Games?

I know that EA bought out the rights to the ESPN brand, but will Sega
continue to make their 2K games or have they given up. They can't make a
football game because EA has sole rights to the NFL, but I'm pretty sure
Sega could still use NHL, MLB and NBA. ESPN NHL 2K5 is a fantastic game,
anyone know if there will be a 2K6?

Are you serious?

You can count on a MLB game, perhaps doing a goggle search.

You still have FOX Sports, ABC, CBS, NBC, and SEGA Sports was still
respectable before acquiring the ESPN brand name.

They stopped the 2K series in favor of the ESPN series. But then they
sold the division making those games to Take Two around the time of the
EA announcement with the NFL and ESPN.

Sega isn't involved anymore. They sold out to Take Two...

I thought that Sega would not be making any such games, given that Visual
Concepts was sold to Take 2. Now, Take 2 will be publishing the MLB and NBA
games, at least....I would suspect that they will also make a College
Football game.

He said 2K games, those game will still be made by VC and published by
Take Two. He is far enough behind the news that I though throwing the
Sega sale of VC / Kush to TT in the mix would have sent him back under
his rock.

The "news" of the MLBPA deal. In his defense, that wasn't exactly on par
with with broadcast of the NFL deal.

Will there be any NHL games with there not being a season for 2004/2005?
