Looking to upgrade to this for a gaming/programming PC-
Asus P8P67 Pro
Intel i5-2500k
2x2gb DDR3 1600mhz Ripjaw X ram
EVGA gtx 460 1gb EE
550W Antec BP550 plus

I went with the P8P67 Pro because it has SLI capabilities incase I want to upgrade in the future, ontop of all the expansion options. Will this setup last me a good 2years+?

Also, I game at 1440x900 or 1366x768 and play games like crysis, WoW, and star craft II. Would like to play dragon age 2, TES5, and others games like that in the near future at medium to high settings.

To tell you the truth.. you really shouldn't look forward to SLI'ing because by the time you do want to upgrade, new stuff will be out and you get way better performance to dollar if you just buy a new video card. I'm just being realistic here..

+1

2 years from now Nvidia will have gone from Fermi to Keplar(2012) to Maxwell(2013)

To put things in perspective, Keplar will have 3 or 4 times more performance per watt than Fermi.

Maxwell will be even better.

And who knows what AMD will be putting out by then.
