I have been looking around here for awhile and I would really like to get a different heatsink than the stock one that came with my E8400. I was looking at the XIGMATEK Dark Knight since it came with the backer plate in the package and the darker color would go along with my case and board colors. I have the Non-fancy Asus P5E X38 board and since I can't find any dimensions on Newegg or XIGMATEK's site I was wondering if anyone else had used one? or knew if it would fit on my board?

Please help me.

They are both LGA 775 and also it can do the 1366 for the i7. I already knew that, what I was talking about was it would clear the large heatsink that ties the voltage regulators, X38, and ICH9R together? If I would have to take that off I would need to replace a lot more than just the cpu cooler and I don't have all the money to do that. And since I haven't been able to find measurements on how tall it comes up above the cpu I don't know if it will clear that heatsink or not or any of the other ones that around the CPU.
