Hi. Curentlly I have a Segotep ATX-500W12 and I would like to buy a MSI GTX 970. I read on the interent that this gpu needs 1x8/1x6 pins . Can somedoy help me if it will work? Also, I have a Intel Pentium E5200 2.5 GHz, 4 gb ram 1660 MHz, and Acer Veriton S480G motherboard. My current gpu is GeForce 210 1GB.
Thanks in advance.

Solution
If the power supply does not have the necessary PCIE power cables (1x8pin and 1x6pin) for your graphics card, it should be replaced with a quality unit that does.

I found these information on the internet
Rail +12V: 1

+3.3V: 30 A

+5V: 30 A

+12V 1: 27 A

-12V: 0.5 A

+5Vsb: 2.0 A

20+4 Pin ATX: 1

4 Pin ATX 12V: 1

SATA: 2

Molex: 2

Floppy: 1

I don't know how to read those, but can you tell me if it has 1x8pin and 1x6pin?
