WIN XP DOES NOT WORK

installed xp on the 25 off october and i have had to do it every day since then. iff i run defragmenter or eany thing like that it shuts down and re starts but comes up carnt find Boot ini file, re starting from windows . once started none off my desktop icons work or eany thing in contol panel.have to do a re install.somtimes it shuts down when doing nothing and get same prob.

sounds like a virus to me...(not sure what to do about it though...sorry)

if you dont mind...try reformatting...may help you do a clean install next time

When you get stupid restart or shutdown problems check two things.

1) TEMPS
2) Power Supply

Make sure those are both in order.
