Windows 10 Clean Install advice from win7

hi guys, ive read the how to install windows 10 guide on this website ( http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2569562/install-windows.html ) and a few of the guides and i just have some questions before i get started.

  ive just read this guide ( http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-3091512/clean-install-windows-upgrade.html )and im finding i cant find the file i need. theres no sources folder or x64 folder.
  
  also im wondering if i can just make a microsoft account before i do the installation and if that will be quicker, and what it will change. i plan on basically doing this http://imgur.com/a/2Zgq5 after the install so im wondering if that will effect it.
  
  Also im wondering if i should reset all my OCs on my video cards, memory and CPU?

if it helps i have the full version of windows 7 (not OEM) and still have my code from that, im wondering if i can just use that code and skip the guide

thanks for the replies guys, i think ive got all i need answered. im not sure who to pick as the solution seeing as so many helpful replies, just know it wont be the first three replies lol.
