I'm trying to nerf Windows' aggressive virus quarantine proccess by setting "Turn off routine remediation" to "Enabled". This does nothing to stop Windows from automatically quarantining files. To add to my annoyance, the same files keep getting flagged despite my selecting "allow" in the protection window. I have to click the popup when it happens or the file will not be visible in protection history and I have to restore from backup. Setting "Turn on removal or items from scan folder" to "disabled" does not restore protection history, nor does resetting the app. How do I get control of this? (yes this is the administrator account)
