Question windows 10 install not detecting my SSD

trying to install windows 10 onto a brand new Kingston SSD, have the usb creation tool loaded, but when i get to the screen to select my drive to install windows on nothing shows up, this is my old computer that i took the ssd from and used on my new computer. now I want to use this as my second computer but cannot get windows to load onto it

i3 8100, gigabyte 1050ti, gigabyte b350m, 16gb corsair ram

What do you mean with this? You use the MediaCreation too to build the USB, not boot from that MCT.

i have the usb in and the install begins, is what i meant. but im stuck on the page where i have to select my drive, nothing shows up. the only two devices plugged in are the 480gb SSD through SATA and the 16gb USB
