Have been struggling for 2 days straight ploughing through YouTube videos and forum questions to get this solved, but to no avail. And I am slowly going mental.

This is my first build and I am super excited to get it running and to play some games, but this is my problem:

No matter what I try, I get a number of error messages from my windows installer booted from USB. They always show up after selecting the drive to install it on. It shows copying 0%.... and then error. I have tried formatting the 970 evo plus in different ways, countless different bios settings I lost count, is there someone out there with a similar setup(listed below)which solved this issue?

Maybe also worth to mention: I made a bootable usb on a Mac, because I have no windows pc available.

Oh yeah I am a complete beginner and have no clue what I am doing, so pls be gentle

Asus Tuf Gaming x570 plus
Amd Ryzen 3700x
Noctua nu-d15s
G.skill trident z 3200mhz 2x16gb
Asus rog strix 2080ti 11gb
750w G3
Samsung 970 evo plus 1tb

Solution
This worked out by buying an external CD drive and using the Windows CD which I purchased. Something went wrong writing Windows to the USB I guess..

Anyway up and running now!
Hi,

Thanks for the reply, yes I did try both those formats. I have created the usb using both these instructions:

Doing it via boot camp assistant does not work on my Mac unfortunately

Thanks again

I thought it could be that I need to install a driver for the 970 evo plus, so I downloaded the only thing available from their website a .exe file and put it on the usb stick. Unfortunately it's not possible to install the driver from an .exe file, and I can not find the extracted driver.

Also worth noting, the m.2 drive is being recognised in my BIOS and I see it there with the complete product name and size of the drive.
