Windows 10 resets color theme

Hi all, simple question really but can't find it on google. So I've set the color under the personalization/colors setting but every few days I would turn on the computer and find that Windows has reset it to the default yellow. No big deal, I can just change it back. But after the 64th time doing it, I'm just sick of it.

I can't figure out what is causing windows to reset the colors to the default. I thought it might be automatic updates but after disabling it, this still happens.

Any ideas?

same issue. super frustrating. tried setting theme service to manual... made the default theme read-only... deleted all other themes, nothing I've tried works.
