I was wondering whether anyone else has experienced this problem and has any advice on what to do, (if anything).

I’ve had my PC for four months now or so and everything works well overall, but tonight for the 2nd time since owning when I booted the PC it went to the ‘choose an option’ page where you can continue boot, troubleshoot, turn off PC etc.

I just pressed continue boot like last time and Windows finished installing an update and it worked fine.

This issue has only happened for the 2nd time in four months. Do I need to be concerned? Doesn’t seem to be the BIOS and I have reset the PC a few times using WinRE factory settings default where everything is wiped.

Cheers!

I'd try and backup any mission critical information from your system/OS drive if there are any and prepare a bootable USB installer for Windows 11, to keep handy. I'd also advise on making sure your motherboard's BIOS is on the latest BIOS version then reinstall your OS instead of resetting the OS.

Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:

Thank you. The BIOS is the latest and sorry, I should have clarified, I have re-installed the latest OS using WinRE ASUS tool.

My PC is an ASUS Rog Strix G16.
