Hey all, I'm wanting to try out using a recently built PC with my big screen to see if we'd like to cut the cable and build a dedicated HTPC. The PC has been running fine - it's built as a photshop computer. I can get output to the TV via the DVI cable, and both DVI and HDMI work with the Dell U2410 monitor. When I hook up the HDMI cord to the TV, the box crashes, says windows shut down to prevent damage to the computer. Does the same thing booting up with HDMI to TV, when switching HDMI to TV, and if DVI is hooked to monitor and I then plug the HDMI to the TV. As I said, the HDMI output works fine connected to the Dell monitor. I tried reducing the resolution prior to hooking up the TV to no avail. Seems like it's likely a driver issue, but when I go to update driver, it says it is the most up to date, and I'm not sure what one would be better or solve this issue. Running windows 7 64bit, GIGABYTE GA-H67MA-UD2H-B3 Motherboard, using on-board graphics. Thanks!
