I thought windows 7 would have a longer lifespan than this. Win 7 was a success-why not keep it around a couple more years?

What sends shiver down my spine is when smart phone users thing they can change the definition because it's become a common term when talking about phone applications. Which is what app. is short for..

If this does go down, it's only because the Xbox 360 will soon be replaced. No way in hell will MS pass up the fat profits of selling console extras, such as hdd's and controllers, unless they have something else to sell those extras for.

I'm pretty excited to own a windows 8 smart phone, windows 8 tablet, windows 8 notebook, windows 8 gaming rig, and a windows 8 htpc / windows 8 integrated HD television. Who wouldn't? It's the ultimate "F U" to Apple.
