Windows BootBootBoot Problems

Hey, Thanks for looking.

My unit boots up whenever my Radeon 9600 is running in STANDARD VGA, but when I install the drivers and reboot, it gets to the point right before the login screen then re-cycles through POST, etc. It's almost as if running the screen at higher resolutions is causing the unit to reset.

The unit is an old Compaq D500. There's only a 250 watt power supply in it, and I plan on trading that one out, but I was interested in knowing if I missed something.

I'm using Catalyst 7.1 and .NET 2.0 Clean install of XP. I also just installed a Hauppauge PVR150 which works perfectly.

go into safe mode and remove EVERY trace of ATI drivers and software.... including in device mangler and the registry. then reboot into regular mode and try installing drivers again.
