Question Windows Explorer Crashes on Startup

So this came out of nowhere. I boot up my PC like normal and the login takes forever to load me in. Internet, wired or wireless, takes a while to connect properly, and I cannot open or close applications for a good long while. Eventually my entire PC freezes and i am left stuck until it calms down. After all of this my PC behaves like normal, but this occurs on startup every time I boot in and it just started an hour ago.

I have never had an issue like this on my PC as it has behaved for as long as I have had it.

I should also note that I have tried several fixes such as disabling fast boot in the power settings in control panel. I have read that updating my graphics card drivers can fix this but I currently am not able to install them right now.

Is there any other way to possibly fix this? It makes me afraid to power on my system.

Yes, Windows and all my programs are run off the SSD.

I think it sounds like the SSD is failing , just my opinion.

What makes you say that? I've owned the SSD for only two years or so, albeit with a lot of use and the occasional power outage.

Just the symptoms , similar to my older sons setup when his Kingston SSD failed.

Alright, what's the best method of transferring my windows installation without having to reinstall everything?

I use Macrium Reflect FREE for my clones , when doing it for others.

I usually clean install for myself. But that's up to you.

So I just clone my SSD, after it struggles to boot, and then replace the old drive with a new one?

If that's the issue , it should work fine. I only run Samsung SSD's now.
