Lately I've tried to update my java software and received the following error
message:

Windows Installer

The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you
are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not
correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance.

I have XP Home version. I am not in a safe mode, and the Windows Installer
must've been installed correctly at one time, cause my computer is loaded
with a ton of stuff...

How do I get the Windows Installer installed correctly?
