Does anyone know how to make the date/time appear with the footage when you
import from a video device into Windows Movie Maker? When I transfer footage
onto a VHS tape, the date/time appear with the footage.

I'm guessing that this is a function of the player rather than the software.
I suspect that when you start playing the VHS player it, like mine,
automatically displays the date and time on the TV, therefore it gets
captured on the PC when you use MM.
you may find that on your camcorder there is a similar function to display
the date and time code when playing back by selecting and option or pressing
a button.

I hope that helps
