Windows updates not working

I've been getting windows updates failing for forever. It goes to 35 percent and reverts. I'm using a samsung 840 evo and a seagate baracuda 2tb with windows 7 ultimate. I've tried using the ,fixit tool , the framework .net fix , re installing the framework, all the fixes on the Microsoft forum. This is the code I keep getting 80070643.

... I specifically said I tried all the fixes on the Microsoft forum more specifically the fixit tool.

Sometimes the only thing that fixes it is a clean install.

Thats annoying. Do I really need updates?

I"ll say it again I HAVE TRIED ALL THE FIXES ON THE MICROSOFT FORUMS also the link for the Framework fix is broken

I am also getting this WindowsUpdate_00009C59 as I try to install different ones individually

I had an Optiplex 960 that I worked on a few months ago , only the clean install fixed it.

I'm going to hold off on the clean install for the thanksgiving break; both so I'll have more time and so I can hopefully get a possible solution. Whats the quickest way to reinstall? (I'm installing off a flash drive and idk if my cd key would work again)
