Hi. Im planning on getting a windows 10 home for my new pc. http://www.howtogeek.com/244678/you-dont-need-a-product-key-to-install-and-use-windows-10/
Can anyone clarify if this method still works without activation key?

what are the limitations beside
- water mark at bottom right side of screen
- cannot customize wallpapers etc

You might not receive security patches and updates to Windows 10. This will leave your PC vulnerable - not a good thing to do. On the ethical side, yes you can use it without activation, but you're technically stealing. If you need a free OS, download a Linux distro.

Thanks :)

Ive been considerin linux. But i do not like majority of the UI. My friend said that i was able to customize them but i find it quite challenging. Do u recommend me any good linux to use?

Take a look at Linux Mint (www.linuxmint.com). The Mint Cinnamon Edition has a similar look and feel to Windows. It's the distro I recommend for people moving from Windows to Linux for the first time. Also, look at Mint KDE Edition. I haven't personally used it, but I hear that its very nice looking and easily customizable.

Ive looked at them and i like the interface and all. But im not a big fan of those icon designs and the UI. are they all customizable? I looked online but dont see it anywhere.
