Windows won't boot ?

PC got switched off due to power cut and won't start
I tried to start power supply is working I can see CDROM light blink ,power button glow ,processor fan spinning but the sound which comes after pressing start button won't come ,hardisk is spinning . is there any chances I can recover ?

what kind of monitor are you using? mine did the same when i first built it I was using a CRT and switched to lcd and that fixed my problem.

I think the problem is with CPU not display I am having dell LCD working fine

ok is the PC built or still building it if you are make sure the 4-8 pin connector is plugged in it powers the cpu. if you think its the cpu try re seating the connectors or the cpu its self. is what GPU do you have and is it working? another thing you could do
is listen for the system speaker beeps. if everything is good you should hear 1 short beep.

No there is no beep sound that's what I m trying to say ,CPU fan works harddisk I spinning

OK but are you sure the GPU is working if not it might fried during the power outage/surge

No I cannot confirm if GPU works or not ? If not what should I do ?
