Windows XP home audit

Hello,
I have a friend who is running Windows XP home who swears that there is a logout script running. He disables the guest account on the computer, but when he logs out and logs in again the guest account is enabled and visible again. He sees a line about logout scripts on the monitor as the system shuts down. Where can we find the logout script to remove it?

You can look for them in the policy editor.

Have him click on start/run and in the run box type in gpedit.msc and click ok.

That didn't work either. There is no gpeditor in XP Home Basic. He ended up downloading the .msc file from Microsoft and running it, but there were no scripts he could find.

He's currently got a workaround by using a startup script. That will work until he can either find the solution or upgrade to XP Professional.
