Hello Everyone
A strange one here. Tried to install a new laptop running
Win XO Pro- I made an account for the computer under
server Manager- when I came to connect the machine to the
domain an error message came up saying "domain controller
not found". I can ping the server and the server appears
to be giving the laptop a dhcp address. Used correct
password for administrator etc.
Any ideas?- had a look- they are exceeding their server
CALS- could this be blocking the machines ability to
connect to the domain?

Regards

Since Windows NT is involved you'll probably need to enable NetBIOS over
TCP/IP on the network connection for Windows XP
