I have Norton Internet Security with virus protection. Does anyone know how
to disable virus protection under the security tab for Windows XP? I am
having conflicting popup issues between the two softwares.

Find out the .EXE or .exe name to the program (R.click on it,properties, find
target) is one way, then go to run, type:services.msc In msc, locate the
service,
double click on it,in the properties window, select, disable, stop the
service,then
close out.The program will not run untill you enable in services, even with
restarts.

Windows XP with or without any Service Pack does not have anti virus.
The Security Center may be telling you there is a problem with Norton.
Is Norton updated?
What version of Norton?
