WinXP Solitaire size on screen larger ?

Running WinXP, is there a way to make the the size of the cards larger ? It
doesn't appear that you can run this game in a different compatabilty mode to
enlarge the size of the cards. Thanks in advance.

Hi Ronco,

To make one of the Windows Games such as Solitaire larger:

First, copy the game:
Click Start / All Programs / Games
Right click on the game (Solitaire for example)
Select Properties from the list
Press the "Find Target" button on the next window
Right Click on the highlighted file and select Copy

Next paste the copy to your Desktop:
Right Click on your Desktop
Select Paste from the list

Finally, we'll change the resolution setting for the game:
Right click on the game you just pasted to your Desktop
Select Properties from the list and Click on the Compatibility Tab
Put a check in the box marked "Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution"

Now whenever you want to play, click on that game on your Desktop and it
will open in full screen mode using the largest Cards and Numbers possible! 🙂

LOL! No, actually it is a good idea to currently avoid the BETA .NET 2.0
version. It does cause havoc on many systems. Since it is beta, it should
not be run on a machine on which you cannot afford to lose the information.

Speaking of different topics, embedding fonts into web pages!

Check the Windows Resource! 😎 (Probably only works in IE based browsers).

PS had the .NET 2.0 on my system for a while now, yes you're right it can
cause issues with some other .NET apps - I've only come across one and that
was the ink input on Channel9 (linked to in .tabletpc), but I had to install
it as the only Visual Studio stuff I can afford is the beta stuff. 😎
