Hey guys I have a Trendnet wireless router setup after an actiontec moca adapter in my upstairs bedroom. I have my desktop running ethernet on that trendnet and a switch ->trendnet for my xb1, roku, etc. Basically comcast router -> MoCA adapter -> trendnet -> switch. My trendnet is currently configured as a switch/access point and the switch portion of it works fine. However, the wireless access point fails miserably. Now initially if I reboot the comcast router I have to reset the moca adapter without the coaxial line connected and then reconnect the coaxial line once it has booted in order to bridge the connection again(I'm not sure if my understanding of this or the terminology is correct).
My question is why does the wireless access point fail?
