I think this is a software issue thats why I have it under windows 7... but I have a wireless adapter I need to take out of my system.. but whenever I do windows won't boot anymore and Ive tried startup repair to no avail. So I went in and removed all the drivers and it still wont remove without failing to boot everytime I turn on my computer. How do you remove a wireless adapter from your computer? Im using this adapter and I hate it. Stopped working after about a month so Im trying to send it back but I cant send it back if I can't get it out of my computer

I have one of those cards in my desktop, and have had no trouble at all with it.

When Windows fails to boot, are there any error messages that pop up? Removing a wireless card should have absolutely no effect on how Windows starts up.

It boots until the "Starting Windows..." screen, then it blacks out restarts from the beginning of the boot process. And it loops endlessly from there. Only way to fix it is to put the adapter back into the computer then it boots again

It boots fine in safe mode just not normal mode... and id rather not use windows in safe mode 100% of the time xD

My point was to identify your problem as driver or startup related. I certainly wouldn't expect you to use Windows in Safe Mode all the time. I'd be very annoyed if I had to do that!

Have you tried removing the driver in Safe Mode?

I believe so... but can you run me through the process in case I did it wrong?? Also this has always happened to me whenever I removed a wireless adapter... even on my old system

I think the drivers are gone but just in case I did it wrong can you run me through the process?

I removed the drives... but when I try and remove TP-LINK Wireless Configuration Utility I get an error that says (An error (-5005 : 0x80070002) has occurred while running the setup.

Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: TP-LINK"
But in services in task manager there is nothing TP-LINK related running....

Try updating to the latest drivers. Then boot into safe mode and uninstalling the drivers from there.

Take the wireless card out and boot. If there are any problems booting get hold of your windows install disc and run the startup repair to find any errors

How do I uninstall them then? If I cant remove the wireless card with them there.... and I cant uninstall them... does the wireless card pretty much just have to stay there until I re install windows when the inevitable SSD comes????
