Wireless Printing

I want to be able to connect my Canon MX700 printer via ethernet cable to my Linksys Router - WRT54G2, with the ultimate goal of having only the printer and router on, and able to print wirelessly from my iPad, MacBook and/or iPhone. Is this possible, and if so, how?

If you wish to connect the printer to the router wirelessly, enter the routers wireless key in to the printer's wireless setup menu

You then need to install the printer software on each device you wish to print from. Obviously this rules out any device which isn't compatible with the printer software or on which it's not physically possible to install the printer software.
