Woke up to completely white screen

HP desktop and monitor. I woke up and the screen was completely white. Restarting the computer didn't work. When I unplug the blue cable, the white screen stays. I can't press f8 on startup, nor can i do anything else it seems. I have finals today and tomorrow and I am screwed without this computer..

Could be a dead computer, full system specs may help. Do you see anything on the screen at all when you turn on the system? Try with a different monitor and cable? Did you fully shut down and turn on the computer?

Thanks for responding. I plugged in a different monitor with the same cable and it worked fine. I'm assuming the monitor just died since I left it on so many times overnight. Plus it was fairly old
