Hello all, looking to upgrade from my very old laptop- which is barely able to do 30fps on low settings without getting so hot it shuts down. All I really want is a build that can do stable, locked 60fps at 1080p on high settings. I've looked up some videos online and looked at other high end builds and created this build from all of that.

I'm wondering if there is any way to improve/save money? I understand that everything is very expensive due to the virus so I'm not sure if I'm getting ripped off or not with these prices. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, I am really at a loss with all of this!!

Pretty solid, however, you are overpaying for the SSD. The WD blue SN550 is a pretty good drive and I suspect you will be unable to find the difference between the blue and the black other than in benchmarks.

The EVGA B5 appears to be a new model and i cannot find much info on it so I swapped it out for a trusted Corsair CX550M.

Monitor went oos so i picked a compatable one.
