Haro,

Opteron (939) would be the best choice even after the M2 comes out. Single or dual, they can OC much better, lower votage in doing so, and runs cooler as well.

They maybe more expensive but they are in a class of its own like the FX, best of the best.

From the PR rating and clock speed of A64 X2 5000+, A64 4000+ I suspect DDR2 A64s may be slower than DDR A64s at equal clockspeed.

They might also be doing a performance jump/pr as they did from the 2200+ to the 2400+(actually 200 mhz jump) as well. AMD wouldnt be making the change if it didnt benefit them somehow.

Cas3 @ 333 is the same speed as cas2 @ 222, so the DDR2 cas3 is actually lower than the DDR cas2
