Just installed 2700x and went from average 300 down to 200 on CSGO benchmarks. Rams OCs are same and 2700x is OC to 4.2 when the 6600k was 4.5. Any ideas?

The 6600k has better IPC than the 2700 so that plus the higher clock speed will yield higher frame rates. It's still intel for very very high frame rates, might change with 3000 series. But for 'normal' frame rates there's no difference no except in the breadth of cores that AMD can offer.

There is not going to be +50% amount of change...
so it will not change a lot with the 3000 series.

We don't know, current rumours are suggesting equivalence in terms of clock speed, hitting 5Ghz, at that point if the IPCs are nearly equal then they've reached parity.
Look at benchmarks with zen+ ,in cinebench if you normalize for clocks intel is like 10% ahead if that in cs:go intel is 50% + ahead.
Even if zen+ reaches parity in cinebench it will still be far behind in cs:go.
