Ok hopefully I can get some help here haven't been so lucky. Anyway ill start ok so last aug I bought a open box from newegg i7 3820 asrock x79 extreme4 was a cyberpower, was fine till now. I've made upgrades along the way started with a new psu then gpu(vapor x7970)

Then last week I ordered a bunch of parts switch 810, swifttech h220, gskill sniper and a gtx 780 acx .

Now here's my bad luck kicking in. I've been noticing my comp would start then quickly reboot prior to the new parts so Sat I switch cases and put nf-F12s in ran fine. On monday I put h220 in and the sniper ram in go to boot up I get a power loop turns out missed a standoff. Go to try again now that I fixed that error 19 that was last night today try it after getting some advice to try new ram it wouldn't boot at all. Took it down to just mobo and psu it wouldn't power on at all psu fan would try to spin that's it.

My question is do I try to replace the mother board or I have a extra 3570k on the way, on a best buy CC and buy a mobo for that which would be around $300 total combined or buy a expensive 2011 mobo for like 200++ for a cpu that I dunno if it died too? Please help

Yeah tried the cyberpower branded psu 850w and a brand new nzxt 750w brand we used in my brothers birthday build . Neither worked.. I didn't get to use my sexy new gpu yet . Just worried about buying a new 2011 mobo and the cpu end up being dead to.

i know you may have tried this but are you sure that the 8 pin power header and 24 pin header are both plugged in all the way. also if you are using a power board try another ( i had one go on me a few months back) . also just try 1 stick of ram and see the results . it may work or not

He should be ok till I can fix my problem right its not going to hurt his pc .

What do you think I should do keep 3570k and buy a motherboard for it or just get a mother board for the 3820 that I can't tell if its dead? Like I said i noticed that my pc would boot then like do a fast restart and boot up (os on a intel ssd so boot up is fast) then I changed to the gskill sniper 1866 and swifttech h220 and that's when it just it the fan.

So what should I do I game heavily and want to be ready for "next gen" so was going to stay with 3820 for more cores thinking about going 3770k to but 3570k has a nice price and its already on my best buy cc. Best buy messed up big time on my order so giving me $50 I might put towards the 3770k. Only scared to stick with 3820 because I can't tell if its dead.
