I have been working a little bit and earned som money, and i want to upgrade my cpu. The question is if its worth it?
I have just enough to buy an Ryzen 5 3600 and a msi b450 tomahawk max, and i feel like i should. My cpu is at 100% all the time and i can feel that my cpu is tired and that i need a new one. I know that 2400mhz ram with r5 isnt good, but i cant upgrade the ram to 3200 mhz later when i can afford. Is all this a good idea? Should i buy another mobo? Cpu? plz help im insecure.

My current specs:
Case NZXT H500
Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite 120 cpu cooler
HK ASUS Prime Z270-P motherboard
CPU Intel Core i5 6600K 3.5GHz LGA1151 Socket
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Dual fan - 6GB GDDR
Corsair Vengeance Lpx 8GB 2400MHz DDR4
SSD WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB M.2
HDD 4TB
550W PSU

Yes. any game running at 1080p or less would benefit most. 3600 also has 2 cores and 8 more threads.

Solution
Changing your CPU and Motherboard isn't going to help that. Once up and running you need to open up your task manager and see why is using all the CPU. Most likely a rogue app. You have a good CPU in there although it is a quad core ( 8 threads ) as opposed to the hex core ( 12 threads you want to get ). You can change it out if you wish, but until you find out what is using all that stuff you will have the same issue.

just 4 cores on his processor.
