2600X-3600X i say its not worth it.
Aorus b450 elite support new 5000 series cpu's,so unless you are really trying to push some overclocks on the new 5000 series cpu (if you upgrade to it) its not worth changing the motherboard either imo.
So save ur money

Hi thanks for your comment i currently had a Vega 56 in the system with the 2600x would I gain no benefit at all upgrading?

at 4k thats all GPU,so u dont have to worry about cpu bottlenecking, and yes at 4K there is a significant difference between 3060ti/3070 again a 3080.
6800XT looks promising too. Either way if OP sells the Vega, I bet he can get like $150 at the very least, it's not that bad of a card.

Try to see if you can get a 3080 at $700. An effective price of $500-600 is great investment for 4K gaming

i can get like £200 for my card in the uk they go for £250 and i can get a 3060 ti for £500 a £3080 is round £800 though

so 300 for my card would it be worth it hunting down the 6800 xt and the 3080 and which one preforms better ? i have a 1.2kw psu yes you can ask why but which card is better
overall they are similar in gaming, but there are some games where 6800XT is 5 fps better, and there are games where 3080 is 5 fps better so idk get whay like more
