Question Would an i7-3770 + 1660 Super work fine with an Intel DH61BF motherboard ?

Hi,

I'm currently using i3-3220 on Intel DH61BF board. I'm planning to upgrade to i7-3770 and 1660 Super. I want to know if my motherboard can handle both these ? Might be a silly question as on paper it should but one time I tried installing an i5-3470S and the system didn't boot, but after reinstalling my i3-3220 it booted fine. I think it was a faulty i5 but since then I'm a bit skeptical. So if anyone's using these configs please lmk, I'll be thankful. I'm using a Foxin PSU currently but will be switching to a Corsair or Cooler Master 450W with these upgrades upgrade so PSU shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks!

It should work with the i7-3770 without an issue, Should work with the 1660 Super as well, I have an i3-3220 in a Dell system that has a goofy motherboard that won't boot if it was unplugged, But I've never had any intentions in upgrading it because of that issue, I don't see why your system wouldn't work with the i7 since it's listed as a supported CPU.
