So, I'll be receiving all my computer parts today [cept for the case]. Would it be ok if I tested my parts on the mobo box to see if everything's working, then put the mobo back in the anti static bag, and psu back in the box ? Just wanna make sure everything's good to go when I receive my case.

alright thanks guys, also I can build ANYWHERE except on carpet right ? I have a polished cherry mahogony table, that would be fine correct ?

You can do it on the motherboard box or table. But do not put it on the carpet. 😀
