hmm i want to get a XP-120 now as i founded a nice review of 25 coolers and founded out that zalman's techology is a bit outdated (cuz they use raditor instead of heatpipes) and i want to know what kind of fan that is LEDed (i love the look man...) that is great to go with the XP-120... while it should be pretty quiet but still cools the system to obtain a high OC (not extreme OC as i'm sure that my ram can't handle it...

BTW the review is at http://www.behardware.com/art/imprimer/568/ if anyone want to see it and i hope that it is not biased like THG is to intel....
Edited by TheHolyLancer on 07/18/05 00:58 AM.

y? they look so pretty... do they produce more heat? and i hope i can get it at NCIX or Anitec cuz i'm gona spend like another 14 to ship the damn thing to my place anitec don;t carry it..................................................[cry]

BTW can't find it throught the search boards thing...

BTW are there any guide to OC S939 things? cuz i know run clock gen to find out maximun speed then set it in the bios (as far as i know... i dunno about increasing core voltage and all that......)

acutally how is the zalman 7000 compared with XP-120??? with noise level and performance taken into account? because i really like the design of the 7000 (big hulking piece of metal VS. a piece of metal that is hidden under the fan i take big hulking piece of metal  )

and since i'm gona be getting it seperatly delivered might as well to wait a bit and try to OC with the stock cooler first..... that is if the difference between the zalman and the XP-120 is as big as the data from the review is...
Edited by TheHolyLancer on 07/18/05 01:39 AM.

oo ok hte section at NCIX for fans is really bad.... i try again with the search for Panaflo products and i would guess the most expensive one is the best? lol.....

is this good?

or is this good enough as i'm sure that 400 less rpm equals to less noise??

and i never knew that panaflo is a division of panasonic... i heard that they are very nice for consumer electronics... never heard them good for computer cooling but i guess i can't know or even hear it all lol

i did notices that it had the highest cfm though.. but being 120mm could i mount it to the XP-120??
Edited by TheHolyLancer on 07/18/05 01:49 AM.

If you are going to try OCing with the stock fan, for a while (They really are quite good) why not hold off buying a new hsf till you make a trip to T.O. Someone here must know of a good shop to pick one up down there.

lol trouble is for me bing one of the first generationg of Huangs emigrated to canada i know no relative that lives or about to goto T.O. (toronto?) and most of my friends are sorta computer illiterate unless i'll try and see if my computer teacher is doing any school ordering and (lol probelly not) he can order me a XP-120 with w/e fan i could find.......

advantages of being in a small town = quiet streets, safe enviroment and friendly people
disadvantage = new stuff usually don't get here fast and ppl seems to be content with traditional work (except for the ppl who works with me dad in the only computer programming company in town and the few other weird and small computer hardware stoes in town that carries intel P4 2.0 and AMD S754.....

ok i take back about cheap computer stores in town as i founde out that a small, but still above average computer store is in town and i found this cooler there

in the review the typhoon's ratings were great

or on a side note should i get a water cooling set from www.mocc.ca?
Edited by TheHolyLancer on 07/18/05 02:08 AM.
