Wraith spire cooler

I was wondering just for fun if I could switch a wraith spire cooler from a 1500x with a wraith spire led cooler from a 2700. I don't see why it would work but I don't know for sure. I have a 1500x in a PC with a side window while my relative is getting a 2700 in a PC without a window and they are fine with trading if I could. I just like the look of the led ring.
if anyone can verify it will work out fine thank you so much.

Yes, same mounting holes. I presume your board has RGB?
...and you really should offer him $omething along with your cooler.

Yeah my motherboard does. And I'm building it for him and installing Windows and everything so he's trading me as kinda like a payment cause I'm doing it for free because I like to build computers
