Are wrist- or forearm-mounted beams fired with Beam Weapons (Pistol)?

I'd make them Beam Weapons (wrist mounted), which defaults to pistol.

Directly from Beam Weapons (Pistol), or at -2 (for example), or some
other default?

At a -4 just like any other beam weapons type.

Since most beam weapons are recoiless, I can't see that much difference
between a pistol sized object held in the hand, and a pistol-sized
object strapped to the wrist. -1 to Beam Weapons (Pistol) at worst.

Will you remember to move your hand, so you aren't shooting off your
knuckles when you fire the wrist-mounted weapon? The different hand
movements necessary for a gripped weapon or a worn weapon should be
worth more than a -1 penalty, IMHO.

You have to do all the aiming with elbow and shoulder movement instead
of using your wrist. Sounds like as big a difference as that between
rifles and pistols. At least.
