X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING Ram Help!!

I am confused about ram speeds for the X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING. In the manual it says that 3000mhz ram is only supported when a lower speed is overclocked to 3000mhz but on Amazon people say that 3000mhz ram works fine. The ram I am getting is Trident Z RGB 3000mhz and I just want to make sure that my ram will work with the motherboard. So does 3000mhz ram work on the X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING?

I think there may be some confusion here.

I don't think they mean "overclocking lower speed ram".

I think they mean OCing the MB using 3000 MHz ram.

Regardless....the 3000 MHz should work.

It will probably work at 2933 Hz.
