x800 help

Hi.

Iv decided im goint to buy a x800Pro card. And i was thinking what manufactor should i choose? Iv read the guide here in the forum, but its hard to choose. The ASUS x800Pro costs 641USD and the Sapphire x800pro costs 574USD, is there such a big difference between the Sapphire and ASUS card that ist worth spending the extra bucks on the ASUS card?

Or should i go with the Sapphire?

Wusy thats not true IMO. When The 9800 Pro got out I bought one. Top of the line card. But I've meda the huge mistake of buying a Powercolor one.. The fan stopped 2 times... Had to RMA it those 2 times. But in this case, Shaphyre is a very reliable brand IMO so its no worth the extra bucks. Only if the ASUS one have more time warranty...
Sorry I'f I'm wrong. I'm aware that compared to Wusy I'm just a noob! Don't mean to offend!

If you want any chance at all of enabling the extra 4 pipes then get the sapphire. The mod only seems to work on sapphire cards!

And what about the VISIONTEK cards? Are they good and trustables?

New Egg sells BBA X800Pro for $475 US. I've seen prices for X800Pro for $359 US. Those are BBA cards. Wait for more cards to hit the market before you buy.
