XBOX 360 controller on PC

will a 2.4 ghz wirless reciever from a microsoft mouse work? it has a sync button to change the device attached to it. or is do the drivers only work with a wire?

if you have the wireless controller all you need is a play and charge kit this will make it the same as a wired controller just download the driver from ms and your set

So I figured this out myself. Using a wireless controller with a plug and play kit will charge it only, it will not connect so you can use it for games. You need to buy a wireless reciever from microsoft, then you can use the controller wirelessly and it works fine.

I just cant figure out why you guys cant get the charge and play to work !!!??? Mine works fine and dandy!!!
